Joe Klink
Joe Klink (born July 24, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. Klink played for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1987-1991), Oakland Athletics (1991), Florida Marlins (1993), and Texas Rangers (1996).
Primarily a relief pitcher, Klink was known for his sinker. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates teams that won three consecutive National League East titles from 1990 to 1992, although he only played on the 1990 and 1991 teams. His best season was 1990, where he posted a 2.79 ERA in 58 appearances for the Pirates.
After his playing career ended, Klink became a pitching coach. He has coached in various minor league systems and has also served as a pitching instructor.
