Matt O'Connor (ice hockey)

Matt O'Connor (born February 21, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender.

O'Connor played college hockey for Boston University, where he garnered attention for his size and athleticism. Prior to Boston University, he played junior hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Youngstown Phantoms and the Dubuque Fighting Saints.

Following his collegiate career, O'Connor signed an entry-level contract with the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL) in 2015. He made his NHL debut with the Senators that same year.

Throughout his professional career, O'Connor has primarily played in the American Hockey League (AHL), appearing with teams such as the Binghamton Senators, San Diego Gulls, and Belleville Senators. He has also played in other professional leagues, including overseas leagues.
