Gwembe (constituency)

Gwembe is a constituency of the National Assembly of Zambia. It is located in the Southern Province. The constituency encompasses the Gwembe District. It has historically been a stronghold for the United Party for National Development (UPND). The current Member of Parliament for Gwembe is Tyson Simuziya, representing the UPND. Elections in Gwembe, like other Zambian constituencies, occur every five years coinciding with the general elections. The constituency's boundaries and composition are defined by the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
