Samuel Dennis (Australian politician)

Samuel Dennis (born 25 December 1902, died 18 January 1965) was an Australian politician who served as a member of the Australian House of Representatives, representing the Division of Wakefield in South Australia. He held the seat from 1949 to 1963.

Dennis was a member of the Liberal Party of Australia. Prior to entering federal politics, he worked as a farmer and grazier. His political interests primarily focused on agricultural issues and rural development. He was a strong advocate for the needs of primary producers within his electorate.

During his time in Parliament, Dennis served on various committees, contributing to debates and policy discussions related to trade, agriculture, and regional infrastructure. He was known for his pragmatic approach and commitment to representing the interests of his constituents.
