Mary Powell (actress)
Mary Powell (1894-1969) was an American stage and film actress. Powell began her career on the stage in the 1910s, appearing in various Broadway productions. She transitioned to silent films in the early 1920s, often playing supporting roles. Her film credits include The Age of Innocence (1924), The Little French Girl (1925), and Her Wild Oat (1927). With the advent of sound films, Powell's career diminished, and she appeared in fewer roles. She is sometimes confused with other actresses of the same name, making a definitive filmography challenging to compile. Her later work included primarily uncredited parts. She died in 1969.
