Cao Zhen (table tennis)
Cao Zhen (曹臻, born January 8, 1987, in Jinan, Shandong) is a retired female Chinese table tennis player. A right-handed player with a penhold grip, she was a specialist in doubles play.
Cao Zhen achieved significant success in international competition, particularly in women's doubles. She formed a successful partnership with Li Xiaoxia, winning several major titles.
Major Achievements:
- World Table Tennis Championships: Gold medalist in women's doubles (2009, Yokohama), partnering with Li Xiaoxia.
- World Cup: Gold medalist in women's team (2010, Dubai).
- Asian Games: Gold medalist in women's doubles (2010, Guangzhou), partnering with Li Xiaoxia.
- ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals: Gold medalist in women's doubles (2009, Macao), partnering with Li Xiaoxia.
Cao Zhen was also a member of the Chinese national team that dominated women's table tennis in the late 2000s and early 2010s. She retired from professional table tennis after a successful career.
