Mark Williams (basketball)

Mark Williams (born December 16, 2001) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the center position.

Williams played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. He was a consensus five-star recruit and was ranked as one of the top players in the 2020 high school class. During his sophomore season at Duke, he was named to the All-ACC Defensive Team and was a finalist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year award.

He was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 15th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft.
