Maracaibo (film)
Maracaibo is a 2017 Venezuelan drama film directed by Miguel Ángel Rocca. The film explores themes of grief, reconciliation, and the complexities of familial relationships following a traumatic event.
The story centers on Gustavo, played by Luis Machín, a father grappling with the unsolved murder of his son, Ricky. Driven by an intense desire for closure, Gustavo travels from Argentina to Maracaibo, Venezuela, where Ricky was killed, in an attempt to reconstruct the events leading up to his son's death. He seeks out and connects with Junior, a young man believed to have been involved in the crime.
