Manawtha

Manawtha is a Sindarin word meaning "The Blessed Realm" or "Land of Blessing". It is used to refer to Aman, the Undying Lands west of Middle-earth. The term specifically emphasizes the blessed and fortunate nature of the land, reserved for the Valar, Maiar, and certain Elves. It's a concept closely tied to Elven longing and the eventual departure of many Elves from Middle-earth. The name conveys the sense of peace, happiness, and freedom from the weariness of the world that characterizes Aman. It is derived from the root man- meaning "good, blessed", combined with awtha which is related to "rich, fertile, abundant".
