Hégenheim
Hégenheim is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Grand Est in northeastern France. It is part of the Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération (m2A). Hégenheim is located in the Sundgau region, very close to the borders with Switzerland and Germany. Its inhabitants are known as Hégenheimois(es). The village's economy is primarily residential, with many residents commuting to work in the nearby city of Basel, Switzerland. Historically, agriculture played a more significant role. The commune's local government is structured around a mayor and a municipal council.
