The Anglo-African (Lagos)

The Anglo-African was a 19th-century newspaper published in Lagos, Nigeria (then a British colony). It holds significance as one of the earliest newspapers in West Africa established by Africans. Founded in 1863 by Robert Campbell, a Jamaican printer and missionary, The Anglo-African served as a crucial platform for articulating African perspectives on political, social, and economic issues of the time.
