Madame Zo
Madame Zo is a recurring character in the world of Harry Potter, created by J.K. Rowling. She is described as a Divination teacher employed at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry prior to Professor Sybill Trelawney. Very little is known about her personality or teaching style, other than the implication that she held the post before Trelawney, suggesting her methods were perhaps considered more practical or less flamboyant than those of her successor. Her name is primarily mentioned in connection to Professor Trelawney's application for the Divination position at Hogwarts, where Albus Dumbledore recalls interviewing Trelawney after she claimed that her predecessor (Madame Zo) wished to retire.
