MV Napa

MV Napa is a Finnish ro-ro passenger ferry operated by Finnlines. Built in 1978 by Wärtsilä Turku Shipyard, she initially sailed as Finnpartner for Finnlines until 1986. Subsequently, she was renamed Nils Dacke and served on various routes under TT-Line. In 1996, she was sold to Poseidon Lines and renamed Nils Holgersson. Following several changes in ownership and names, including Val de Loire and Bcn Vigo, she was acquired by Finnlines in 2007 and received her current name, MV Napa. She primarily operates in the Baltic Sea, transporting passengers and cargo. The Napa represents a significant portion of the maritime history in the Baltic region, having served under several flags and identities over the decades.
