Lucy Lang
Lucy Lang is an American attorney and public servant. She is currently the Inspector General of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), a role to which she was appointed by President Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2023. Prior to this federal role, Lang served as Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office for over a decade, specializing in sex crimes prosecution. She also ran for Manhattan District Attorney in 2021. Her career has been largely focused on criminal justice reform, victim advocacy, and issues related to gender-based violence.
