Miles Barne (politician born 1746)

Miles Barne (1746 – 14 June 1825) was a British politician.

Barne was the son of Miles Barne of Sotterley Park, Suffolk and Elizabeth Elwick. He was educated at Eton College. He inherited Sotterley Park upon his father's death in 1754.

He served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Dunwich from 1790 to 1791 and again from 1796 to 1812. He also served as High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1785.

He married Elizabeth Watts, daughter of Edward Watts, on 7 October 1773. They had several children, including Michael Barne, who also served as an MP for Dunwich.
