Honor Guard Company (Belarus)

The Honor Guard Company of Belarus (Belarusian: Ганаровая варта Рэспублікі Беларусь, Russian: Рота Почётного караула Республики Беларусь) is a military unit within the Armed Forces of Belarus responsible for performing ceremonial duties and representing Belarus at state events. Its primary function is to render military honors to visiting foreign dignitaries, participate in national holidays and parades, and guard important state institutions.

The company typically consists of highly selected soldiers chosen for their physical bearing, discipline, and dedication. They undergo rigorous training in drill and ceremony, weapons handling, and military etiquette. Their uniforms are distinct and designed to represent the traditions and history of the Belarusian military.

The Honor Guard Company participates in ceremonies such as the welcoming of heads of state at the Minsk National Airport, wreath-laying ceremonies at monuments and memorials, and the opening and closing ceremonies of significant national events. They are also a visible presence during Victory Day parades and Independence Day celebrations. The unit plays a significant role in promoting national pride and projecting a positive image of Belarus both domestically and internationally. They are directly subordinate to the Minsk Military Commandant's Office.
