Lobos (album)
Lobos is the self-titled debut album by the American rock band Los Lobos, released in 1978. It consists primarily of traditional Mexican folk songs performed by the band in a stripped-down, acoustic style. Unlike their later, more rock-oriented albums, Lobos focuses on showcasing their roots in traditional Mexican music, particularly son jarocho, norteño, and bolero styles. The album helped establish the band's reputation within the Southern California music scene and laid the groundwork for their subsequent crossover success.
