Liam Kelly (footballer, born 1996)

Liam Kelly (born 23 January 1996) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Motherwell.

Career

Kelly began his career with Kilmarnock, progressing through their youth academy before making his professional debut in 2015. He spent time on loan at East Stirlingshire and Livingston to gain first-team experience. At Livingston, he notably helped them to promotion to the Scottish Championship.

After establishing himself as Kilmarnock's first-choice goalkeeper, Kelly signed for Queens Park Rangers in 2019. He spent time on loan at Motherwell during the 2021–22 season, impressing with his performances. He then made the move permanent in the summer of 2022.

Kelly has represented Scotland at youth international levels. He received his first call-up to the senior Scotland squad in 2019.
