Li Dequn
Li Dequn (李德群, born November 1956) is a Chinese engineer, professor, and expert in polymer processing and molding at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan, China. His research focuses on micro-injection molding, reactive injection molding, and polymer materials processing.
Li Dequn received his Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from HUST in 1982, his Master's degree in 1984, and his Ph.D. in 1987, all from the same institution. He has been a faculty member at HUST since graduation, rising through the ranks to become a full professor.
Li Dequn has published extensively in international journals and conferences related to polymer science and engineering. He is also known for his work on industrial applications of polymer processing techniques, particularly in areas such as automotive parts and medical devices. He has received numerous awards and honors for his contributions to the field. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
