Leninaul (Nogaysky District)

Leninaul is a rural locality (a selo) in Nogaysky District of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. It is the administrative center of the "Rural Settlement 'Leninaulsky Selsoviet.'"

The village is located in the northern part of Dagestan, within the Nogai Steppe. It is populated predominantly by Nogais.

Historically, the area around Leninaul has been part of the traditional lands of the Nogai people. The settlement's name, like many others established during the Soviet era, likely honors Vladimir Lenin.
