Larry Anderson (American football)
Larry Anderson (born November 27, 1953) is a former professional American football player. He played cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons, primarily for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Anderson played college football at Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the 1976 NFL Draft.
With the Steelers, Anderson was part of the famed "Steel Curtain" defense. He contributed to the Steelers' Super Bowl XIII and Super Bowl XIV victories.
In 1981, Anderson was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played for five seasons. He finished his NFL career with the Eagles.
After his playing career, Anderson has been involved in coaching and other football-related activities. He has also participated in charitable events.
