LaSiete

LaSiete was a Spanish free-to-air television channel, owned by Mediaset España. It began broadcasting on 18 February 2008 as Telecinco 2, and was rebranded as LaSiete on 18 May 2009 as part of a restructuring of Mediaset España's channel lineup following the arrival of digital terrestrial television (DTT).

LaSiete primarily broadcast reruns of shows previously aired on Telecinco and Cuatro, as well as some sports programming and films. It was positioned as a generalist channel targeting a wide audience.

The channel ceased broadcasting on 6 May 2014 following a ruling by the Supreme Court of Spain which declared the allocation of DTT licenses in 2010 illegal. As a result, several channels owned by Mediaset España and Atresmedia were forced to close.
