Seckbach (Frankfurt am Main)
Seckbach is a district (Stadtteil) of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is located in the northeast of the city and is part of the Ortsbezirk 11 (Bergen-Enkheim, Seckbach).
Historically a separate village, Seckbach was incorporated into Frankfurt am Main in 1910. Its origins can be traced back to the Carolingian era. The name "Seckbach" likely derives from "Sickenbach," referring to a small stream or brook.
Today, Seckbach is largely a residential area with a mix of older buildings and modern housing developments.
