Kyle Seager
Kyle Seager (born November 3, 1987) is an American former professional baseball third baseman. He played his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career for the Seattle Mariners from 2011 to 2021.
Seager was drafted by the Mariners in the third round of the 2009 MLB draft. Before his professional career, he played college baseball for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels.
Throughout his MLB career, Seager was known for his consistent performance, reliable defense, and leadership qualities. He earned an All-Star selection in 2014 and a Gold Glove Award in 2014. He consistently hit for power and average, becoming a mainstay in the Mariners' lineup.
Following the 2021 season, Seager became a free agent. He announced his retirement from professional baseball in December 2021. His career totals include over 240 home runs and 800 RBIs. He is considered one of the more productive and respected players in Seattle Mariners history.
