Kolainiai

Kolainiai is a small town located in the Kelmė district municipality, Šiauliai County, Lithuania. It is situated approximately 14 kilometers (8.7 miles) northeast of Kelmė, the district's administrative center. As of 2021, the town had a population of approximately 250 residents.

Kolainiai is notable for its historical significance, particularly its association with the Samogitian uprising of 1831. The town served as a meeting point for insurgents during the rebellion against Tsarist Russia.
