Klinovets

Klinovets is the highest mountain in the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory) in the Czech Republic. It rises to a height of 1,244 meters (4,081 feet) above sea level. Situated near the town of Jáchymov, it is a popular destination for skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. The peak is home to a large television transmitter and a hotel/restaurant with an observation tower offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including parts of Germany. The area is known for its rich mining history, particularly in relation to silver and uranium. The name Klinovets translates roughly to "Wedge Mountain".
