Kili Holm
Kili Holm is a small tidal island located off the coast of Northmavine, in Shetland, Scotland. It lies just to the northwest of the larger island of Muckle Roe. The island is uninhabited and primarily consists of grassland and rocky coastline. Its name is of Norse origin, likely combining the elements "kili" (meaning a wedge or narrow bay) and "holm" (meaning a small island). Kili Holm is an important habitat for seabirds and seals. Access to the island is dependent on tidal conditions, requiring careful planning for any landings. The island offers scenic views of the surrounding coastline and North Sea.
