John Shaw (hurler)

John Shaw is an Irish hurler who played as a right corner-back for the Kilkenny senior team.

Career

Shaw played club hurling with Erin's Own GAA. He won a Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship title with the club in 2007.

At inter-county level, Shaw joined the Kilkenny senior panel in 2008. He made a few appearances, primarily as a substitute, and was part of the Kilkenny squad that won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship in 2008. He did not play in the final. He also won a National Hurling League title in 2009. Shaw retired from inter-county hurling in 2011.
