Scott Mason (cricketer)

Scott Mason (born October 27, 1975) is a former English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium-pace.

Mason played most of his first-class cricket for Derbyshire, making his debut in 1995. He remained with Derbyshire until the end of the 2001 season. In 2002, he moved to Northamptonshire, where he played for a single season. Mason later played Minor Counties cricket for Lincolnshire.

Primarily a lower-order batsman, Mason occasionally showed promise with the bat but never consistently established himself as a top-order run scorer. His bowling was used sparingly in first-class matches.
