Ryan Dunn

Ryan Dunn (June 11, 1977 – June 20, 2011) was an American stunt performer, television personality, comedian, and actor. He was best known as a member of the Jackass crew, appearing on the MTV television series and subsequent Jackass films. Dunn also starred in his own MTV shows, Homewrecker and Proving Ground.

Dunn's career began with the skateboarding video series CKY, which featured him and his friends performing stunts and pranks. This led to their involvement with Jackass. He became a prominent and popular member of the Jackass cast, known for his willingness to participate in outrageous and often painful stunts.

Beyond Jackass, Dunn appeared in films such as Street Dreams and Haggard, the latter of which he co-wrote and directed. He also had guest appearances on television shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Dunn died in a car accident in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, on June 20, 2011. The accident also claimed the life of Zachary Hartwell, a production assistant on Jackass Number Two. The circumstances surrounding the accident, including Dunn's blood alcohol level being above the legal limit, generated significant media attention. His death deeply affected his fellow Jackass cast members and fans, and he is remembered for his contributions to the entertainment industry.
