Kevin McDermott (American football)

Kevin McDermott (born January 27, 1990) is an American football long snapper who is currently a free agent. He played college football at UCLA.

McDermott was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He was with the Baltimore Ravens briefly in 2015 before signing with the Buffalo Bills later that year.

He signed with the Vikings again in 2015 and spent the next eight seasons with the team, serving as their long snapper. He was released by the Vikings in 2023.

McDermott is known for his reliability and accuracy in long snapping, a crucial role on special teams plays such as punts and field goals. His longevity in the NFL demonstrates his consistency and professionalism.
