CLC (group)
CLC (씨엘씨) was a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment in 2015. The group's name stands for "CrystaL Clear." They originally debuted with five members: Seunghee, Yujin, Seungyeon, Sorn, and Yeeun. Elkie and Eunbin were added to the group in 2016.
CLC was known for experimenting with various concepts and genres throughout their career, ranging from cute and innocent to charismatic and girl-crush. Some of their notable releases include "Pepe," "High Heels," "Hobgoblin," "Black Dress," and "Helicopter."
The group experienced lineup changes and periods of inactivity in the years leading up to their disbandment. In 2021, Elkie terminated her contract with Cube Entertainment, and Sorn also left the agency later that year.
Cube Entertainment officially announced the disbandment of CLC on May 20, 2022. Members have since pursued solo careers in music, acting, and other entertainment fields.
