Rimouski (provincial electoral district)

Rimouski is a provincial electoral district in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, Canada, that elects one member to the National Assembly of Quebec.

It was created for the 1867 election and was originally named "Rimouski-et-Matane." In 1930, the district was divided into two: Rimouski and Matane.

The district is located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River. It includes the city of Rimouski and surrounding municipalities.

Historically, Rimouski has often swung between the Quebec Liberal Party and the Parti Québécois. The current Member of the National Assembly (MNA) for Rimouski is Maïté Blanchette Vézina, representing the Coalition Avenir Québec.
