Katina (island)
Katina is a small, uninhabited islet located adjacent to the larger island of Kasos in the Dodecanese island group of Greece. It lies just off the southwestern coast of Kasos and is separated from it by a narrow strait.
Katina is rocky and sparsely vegetated. Its primary significance lies in its geographical proximity to Kasos and its contribution to the overall island cluster. It is often included in boat trips around Kasos, particularly for snorkeling and swimming due to the clear waters surrounding the islet. There are no permanent structures or facilities on Katina. It is not a designated protected area, though it falls under general environmental regulations applicable to the Dodecanese islands.
