Kasangati

Kasangati is a town located in the Wakiso District of Uganda, in East Africa. It lies approximately 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) northeast of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. It is situated along the Kampala-Gayaza road, a major route connecting the capital to the northern parts of Wakiso District.

Kasangati is known as a relatively fast-growing urban center, experiencing a shift from a predominantly rural area to a more commercial and residential hub. The town serves as a commercial center for the surrounding agricultural areas and has seen an increase in small businesses, retail shops, and residential housing.
