Kali Reis

Kali Reis (born August 24, 1986) is an American professional boxer and actress. As a boxer, she is a former two-time world champion, having held the WBC female middleweight title in 2016 and the WBA, IBO, and WBO female light welterweight titles between 2020 and 2021.

Reis began boxing professionally in 2008. Outside of boxing, she made her acting debut in the 2021 film Catch the Fair One, which she also co-wrote and helped produce. She garnered critical acclaim for her performance in the film, earning nominations for Best Female Lead at the Independent Spirit Awards and the Gotham Awards. She has since appeared in other films and television series, including True Detective: Night Country.

Reis is of Cape Verdean and Cherokee descent and is a strong advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) awareness. She uses her platform to raise awareness about the issues facing Indigenous communities and to promote Indigenous culture and empowerment.
