John White (Georgia politician)

John White is an American politician from Georgia. He served as a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing District 6 from 2013 to 2023. District 6 is located in Fannin County and Gilmer County.

White was born in Fannin County, Georgia. He attended West Fannin High School and later earned a degree in Business Administration from Reinhardt University. Before entering politics, he worked in the private sector in the areas of construction and real estate.

During his time in the Georgia House, White served on several committees, including Appropriations, Regulated Industries, and Transportation. He also served as Chairman of the House Transportation Committee. He was known for his focus on infrastructure development, economic development, and fiscal responsibility.

White did not seek re-election in 2022.
