Snaps (album)

Snaps is a 1973 studio album by jazz vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson. It was released on Blue Note Records and features a sextet with Hutcherson on vibes, Harold Land on tenor saxophone, Oscar Brashear on trumpet and flugelhorn, Bill Henderson on electric piano, Reggie Johnson on bass, and Larry Hancock on drums. The album consists of five tracks, all composed by members of the sextet. Known for its post-bop and hard bop influences, Snaps showcases Hutcherson's distinctive vibraphone style and the ensemble's improvisational skills.
