Megamasso
Megamasso (メガマソ) is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in December 2006. The band was originally signed to the label J-Rock, and later moved to Maverick DC Group's Danger Crue Records.
Megamasso's music is characterized by a blend of pop, rock, and electronic elements, often incorporating catchy melodies and a whimsical aesthetic. Their lyrics explore themes of fantasy, dreams, and personal experiences.
The band's lineup originally consisted of vocalist Inzargi (インザーギ), guitarist GOU (ギター), and bassist Ryohei (涼平). Drummer Yuuta (ユータ) joined the band later.
Megamasso was known for their elaborate and visually striking stage performances, costumes, and makeup, all hallmarks of the visual kei style.
The band announced their disbandment in 2017, with their final performance taking place on November 23, 2017, at Zepp Tokyo. Despite disbanding, individual members have remained active in other musical projects. Ryohei, in particular, has continued his musical career with his own projects.
