John Rees (cricketer)

John Rees (born 27 June 1941) is a former Welsh cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who played first-class cricket for Glamorgan County Cricket Club from 1961 to 1970.

Rees made his first-class debut for Glamorgan against Oxford University in 1961. He became a regular member of the Glamorgan side throughout the 1960s. His highest first-class score was 132, made against Sussex in 1967. He took 53 wickets in his first-class career, with a best of 5 for 26 against Worcestershire in 1963.

Following his retirement from first-class cricket, Rees continued to play club cricket in Wales.
