KPHO-TV

KPHO-TV is a television station in Phoenix, Arizona, United States, affiliated with CBS. It is owned by Gray Television alongside independent station KTVK (channel 3). The two stations share studios on North 3rd Street in downtown Phoenix; KPHO-TV's transmitter is located on South Mountain.

The station's history dates back to 1949, when it was the first television station to sign on in Arizona. Originally owned by Meredith Corporation along with KPHO radio, it carried programming from all four major networks of the time (CBS, NBC, ABC, and DuMont) before becoming a primary CBS affiliate. Meredith sold the station to the current owners, Gray Television, in 2021.

KPHO-TV's programming includes CBS network shows, local news, syndicated programming, and public affairs programs. The station's news department produces multiple local news broadcasts throughout the day, focusing on stories relevant to the Phoenix metropolitan area.
