John Leckie (footballer)

John Leckie (born 25 October 1948) is a former Scottish professional footballer who played as a full-back.

Leckie began his career with Dundee United, making his debut in 1967. He spent over a decade at Tannadice Park, amassing over 300 appearances in all competitions. During his time with Dundee United, he was a consistent presence in the team and contributed to their success in the Scottish League Cup, winning the trophy in 1979.

After leaving Dundee United in the late 1970s, Leckie had a spell with Forfar Athletic before retiring from professional football.
