John Fulton (cricketer, born 1849)

John Fulton (1849-1931) was a Scottish cricketer who played first-class cricket for Scotland in the late 19th century. Born on 14 November 1849 in Edinburgh, he was primarily a right-handed batsman, though his bowling style is not well documented. Fulton made a number of appearances for Scotland in first-class matches, predominantly against touring Australian and English sides. His highest recorded score was 47, achieved against Lancashire in 1881. He died on 23 February 1931 in Edinburgh. His career was relatively short, spanning the 1870s and early 1880s.
