Al Sadd (Qatar)
Al Sadd Sports Club is a Qatari multi-sports club based in Doha. It is best known for its football team, which is the most successful team in the Qatar Stars League, with 16 league titles.

Al Sadd's football team was founded in 1969 and has been a dominant force in Qatari football ever since. In addition to their league titles, they have won the Emir of Qatar Cup 18 times, the Qatar Cup 8 times, and the Sheikh Jassim Cup 17 times. They also hold the distinction of being the first Qatari (and Asian) club to win the AFC Champions League, achieving this feat in 1989. They won the rebranded AFC Champions League again in 2011. The club's home stadium is the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, which hosted several matches during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Notable former players and managers include Xavi Hernández, who both played for and managed the club, Raúl González, and Jesualdo Ferreira.
