Atera (restaurant)

Atera was a Michelin-starred restaurant located in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City. It was known for its tasting menu-only format and its innovative, modernist cuisine. Opened in 2012, Atera was led by Chef Matthew Lightner and later by Chef Ronny Emborg. The restaurant aimed to create an immersive dining experience through the use of progressive techniques and unique ingredients. Atera garnered two Michelin stars and received positive reviews for its artistry and inventive approach to food. The restaurant closed permanently in June 2020.
