Jack Wilson (judge)

Jack Wilson is a judge who has served on the Court of Appeals of Georgia. He was appointed to the court by Governor Brian Kemp in 2021. Prior to his appointment, Wilson was a partner at the law firm of Balch & Bingham LLP, specializing in appellate law and complex litigation. He has extensive experience in both state and federal courts. Wilson earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review. He also holds a B.A. from Auburn University. His appointment to the Court of Appeals was seen as filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Stephen Dillard. He is considered a conservative jurist.
