John Dunn (American football, born 1888)

John Dunn (born February 21, 1888, in Chicago, Illinois; died February 17, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois) was an American football player. He played college football as a halfback for the University of Chicago Maroons under head coach Amos Alonzo Stagg. Dunn was a member of the 1913 Chicago Maroons team that finished with a record of 7-0 and was retroactively named a national champion by the National Championship Foundation. He was known for his speed and agility. After his football career, he worked in business in Chicago.
