Joe Riley (footballer, born 1928)

Joe Riley (born 13 December 1928) is an English former professional footballer. He played as a right-back.

Riley began his career with Manchester City in 1946, making his debut in 1949. He was a member of the Manchester City team that won the FA Cup in 1956, playing in the final against Birmingham City. He made over 300 league appearances for Manchester City before joining Oldham Athletic in 1964.

He spent two seasons with Oldham Athletic before retiring from professional football.
