Jin Long (snooker player)
Jin Long (born December 29, 1993) is a Chinese professional snooker player.
Jin Long first gained prominence by competing on the IBSF World Snooker Tour, reaching the final of the 2013 IBSF World Snooker Championship, where he lost to Pankaj Advani. This performance earned him a place on the professional World Snooker Tour for the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons.
During his initial time on the professional tour, Jin Long achieved moderate success, participating in ranking tournaments and attempting to establish himself among the established players. While he did not win any major titles during this period, he gained valuable experience competing at the highest level.
After a period away from the professional tour, Jin Long regained his tour card through Q School in 2022, securing a place for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons. He continues to compete in professional snooker tournaments. His playing style is generally considered tactical, and he is known for his solid break-building ability.
