Bellevue State Park (Iowa)
Bellevue State Park is a 788.5-acre state park located in Jackson County, Iowa, near the city of Bellevue. The park is divided into two distinct units: Nelson Unit and the Dyas Unit.
The Nelson Unit, situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, is known for its scenic views, hiking trails, butterfly garden, and campground. The unit also houses the Bellevue Butterfly Garden, a dedicated area to conserve and educate visitors about butterflies and other pollinators.
